Frankly I don’t have the heart to post a comprehensive recap of Game #2 of the WPBL Championship series. It’s hard to lose a game like this when your team is playing its best, but last night’s 11-7 drubbing was aided and abetted by errors and miscues from the Firebells’ defense combined with a hot-hitting Queens team that is riding a huge wave of momentum. The Queens lead the best of five series 2-0, which even the most ardent Firebells fan must admit is a commanding position.
The goal is the same for the Firebells: win the championship. To accomplish that, the first step is to win the next game. At the moment, nothing exists beyond that.
